LOOP : REUSE THE TOWER

In time's constant flow and slow decay,
All things are colored in a fading way.
Yet stories linger like a radiant light,
Guiding us forward, a future that's bright.

Everything is subject to the flow of time and decay, but stories remain and continue to live on.
The decay of Torre Rinalda building portraits lost connections .. In an era of connectivity.

The Loop project aims to breathe new life into the abandoned building by giving it a new purpose and a new story to tell.
We focused on what the building could grow into, ignoring the building itself as it is subjected to the decay of time
The loop of decay and rebirth is part of the natural cycle of life, and this project seeks to embrace that cycle
by creating something new from something old. By embracing the potential and story of this building,
we hope to connect, communicate, grow, and turning it from a place that once symbolized a call to run away and seek shelter
into a space that now symbolizes a call for connection, communication and growth.

The Loop project will transform the abandoned Torre Rinalda building into a space that highlights its unique history and potential, achieved through a careful and thoughtful renovation of the existing structure.
The end result will be a space that is not only functional and beautiful, but also meaningful and inspiring for all who use it.

The Loop Highlights the flow by being a form that connects the building with its context, symbolizing the story of a building that outgrows itself transforming into a Hub fading into the context and being a context by itself, fading into the background of history, enveloping and framing the stories and memories of people and place. Embracing the decay in the selected materials and encouraging movement and growth in the designed structure and form.
